The Light by which you ‘perceive’ the world, is the « minute spark / the ‘I am’ » ; the first, and the last in every act of knowing, and loving. The ‘I’ is there even without the ‘am’, so is Pure Light whether ‘you’ say ‘I’ or not.
Aware of that Pure Light, and ‘you’ will never loose it. The being-ness in Being, the conscious-ness in Aware-ness, the interest/relish in every experience/taste is indescribable yet perfectly accessible.
What is ‘perceived’ may go through “evolution {apparent} / involution {hidden}” when the Light of Aware-ness is focused on ‘it’. It, the object changes, but not the Light {ex: plants grow in Sunlight, but not the Sun, etcetera}.
In the ‘state’ of non-duality {AtTauhiid}, ALL separation ceases. The person, the ‘I am … this body, the mind, chain of memories, bundles of fears and desires, etcetera’ disappears, but ‘identity’ remains. It enables one to ‘become’ a ‘person’ when required {esp. when dealing with the ‘world / multiverse’}
